Brian's life is fairly inexplicable. His parents were Buddhist ministers. He has dual Canadian and American citizenship. For part of his childhood he lived in a ghetto in Oakland, CA (where he was the only caucasian child in his class). He spend much of his childhood on antidepressive medication (which he was told was "to help him sleep"). Brian taught himself to program on an old Apple II+ (without a disk drive or hard drive). He has a BA in psychology and has worked as an Information Technology Consultant.
Today, Brian is happily married (to a cute anarchist lawyer), lives in Eureka CA, and his hobbies include cooking and digital photography.
Brian does a majority of the writing, game design, advertising, art direction, web programming and print buying for Vajra Enterprises.
Brian has written compulsively as far back as he can remember. Brian has been working on his opus RPG "Fates Worse Than Death" in some form or another since 1988. Here's a story Brian wrote when he was seven that involves the destruction of the human race:
Brian hopes to someday become a goth.
